Shawn Yerkes

CEO & Founder

Shawn is a long-time executive turned entrepreneur who has learned that nothing is more important than the combination of a great customer and employee experience.  After graduating from Georgetown University, he spent many years in mortgage banking with Bank of America, before moving on to renewable energy as an senior executive at both Sungevity and Zenernet.  In between, he was the Global MD of Sales & Service for IWG, who is the parent company of the short-term office space brands Regus & Spaces, to name a few.  Throughout his journey, he has learned the importance of treating your customers and employees like gold, which ensures future growth and return business.  He also has a passion for growing businesses through world-class sales, marketing and fulfillment processes along with partner-based strategies that are directly influenced by data driven decision making and brought to life utilizing world-class technology.

Shawn created Humin Loans because he saw an opportunity to create a groundbreaking business focused on the customer experience, and more specifically the next generation of lending that allows customers to communicate how they choose, not how the company decides.  He strives to create a best-in-class culture for Humin’s employees, which are the lifeblood of the company and are critical to bringing his vision to reality.  This combination will bring to life his vision of making sure all customers are given a unique and diverse product offering which best suits their needs, all while allowing for a simple and easy experience.
